We stayed there for 4 nights. The room was very clean, comfortable beds, new furniture and very nice staff too. But the area around has got dirty roads. The hotel is close to a railway station and to some roof-top-restaurants..Tozy Z

I visit Delhi every year to help with a small charity working with street children and in 2011 I stayed at the Hotel Krishna. The prices went up for 2012 so decided to stay further down at this hotel. Overall I was very pleased with The Grand Godwin. Rooms are very spacious and as I was there for 10 days it was perfect for me. The restaurant served some very good meals and the Breakfast had a very wide choice. I know many people find the area a bit down trodden but this is Old Delhi and it is what you must expect. With regards the hotel, I would recommend it although I would have liked an Internet facility and the option of making a long distance phone call. I mention that I am female and 69 years old so that you can see I am not concerned about this area..saralclegg

We stayed for a night on 16th of January 2013 and it was a wonderful experience right from the begining. As they greet you from main entrance to reception you can start feeling that the staff are trained hard for courtesy towards guests. Check in staff was very cooperative and so was room service and everywhere. Rooms are big enough and washroom is very nicely done..Jdock

We have stayed in many hotels in Main Bazaar and Arakashan Road but this this place is amazing! I was completely amazed at how beautifully the hotel had been renovated from when we stayed here about 6 years ago. The rooms are furnished nicely, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, hot water…the list goes on. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Best of all the hotel is so central to New Delhi Railways Station, Main Bazaar, Connaught Place etc. We ended up staying here on our way back through Delhi again. I would recommend this hotel for people who have not been to India before and want a nice, comfortable place to stay for their first couple of days in the madness of Delhi. I will certainly stay here again..Amy

Room was very well furnished and clean. It had a king size bed which ensured a comfortable good night's sleep for me. On my next visit to Delhi, if this hotel has availability, I'll definitely book this..Anshuman A

We had just arrived from Varanasi and found New Delhi to be a bit overwhelming...so it was a nice surprise to find such a lovely hotel at a reasonable price. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was good and the terrace was a nice getaway from the hectic pace of the city. Being two female travelers, this is a safe place to stay and upon return, I would stay here again..katringa
